"How Does it Work?" Progressive Fundraising gives fundraising groups three ways to raise funds. GIFT CARDS Progressive Fundraising purchases gift cards from large retail stores in bulk. Participating retailers include these types of stores; grocery, gasoline, home improvement, department, sporting goods, specialty, video and restaurants. Since we purchase in such large quantities, the retail stores give us a good discount. We pass the majority of that discount on to groups like schools, churches, day cares, sports organizations, clubs and charities.
