Why should I use this shopping village when I shop? (return to top) Merchants will only pay a rebate to your Plan if they can confirm that the sale originated at the shopping village. Merchants are constantly offering special deals and incentives to keep our Members interested in the shopping village.

Does my Plan earn up to a 15% rebate every time I shop? (return to top)
Yes! Your Plan will earn up to a 15% rebate every time you shop. The rebate offered by each merchant is published on the ShopFunds website. ShopFunds, who manages the shopping village, ensures that you are getting the best deals, and incentives being offered by the Merchants. Please remember that you must initiate your shopping through the shopping village to have the rebates directed to your Plan.
Do I pay more to shop at the shopping village? (return to top)
No. When you shop using our shopping village you do not pay any more than you would if you shopped at one of our listed merchants directly. Moreover, merchants frequently offer exclusive incentives to our shopping village that are not available at other sites.
How is the shopping village funded? (return to top) The shopping village is managed by ShopFunds, who is paid directly through affiliate marketing programs by the merchants to help operate the site, and to provide reporting according to your Plan. Merchants encourage this type of online shopping as it reduces their marketing and sales expenses and builds customer loyalty.
Do I get a tax credit if my Plan supports a charity? (return to top) No. The Canada Revenue Agency and/or U.S. IRS limits tax deductibility for charitable contributions to the amount paid over and above the fair market price for an item. Since the prices you pay when buying from the merchants are the same as if you purchased directly from the merchant, no tax-deductible event occurs.
Can anyone make purchases and earn up to 15% for my Plan? (return to top) Anyone can purchase items through the shopping village and earn up to a 15% rebate for your Plan. Even international visitors can shop and earn rebates.
Who operates this shopping village? This shopping village is operated and managed by ShopFunds.
How do I know that the rebate will be allocated according to my Plan? (return to top) The best way to ensure that your Plan is receiving all of your earnings is to register and keep track of your shopping history. If your plan involves a third party beneficiary such as a charity, the charity has the ability to audit the accounting records of ShopFunds.
I am not comfortable shopping on the Internet? (return to top) All of our Merchants offer encrypted payment gateways and payment methods such as Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. If a Merchant cannot confirm that a sale originated at the shopping village site your Plan will not receive up to a 15% rebate.
How do I know that online Merchants are secure? (return to top) During the purchase transaction with the Merchant you will be asked to provide credit card information. When making a purchase the transaction is moved to a secure server to encrypt and protect the information you provide. To ensure that proper security protocol has occurred please look for the closed yellow lock symbol in your browser and "https" must appear in your address bar. ShopFunds does not have access to any information that you provide to the merchant.
May I return or exchange purchases? (return to top) Each Merchant has their own Customer Service Page that describes their return policy. Please visit their customer service page for details. If you are not satisfied with the customer service you receive from one of our participating retailers, we need to know about it. Please contact our customer service department at customerservice@RebateaCause.com. Please note that once you have returned something, the rebate that you earned will be reversed.
Can I have my order shipped to another address? (return to top) Purchases are delivered to the address of your choice. Please check the individual merchant's Customer Service Page for specific information about their shipping policies.
How much of a rebate will my Plan earn? (return to top) Your Plan will earn 100% of the rebate listed by the shopping village. Merchants offer a percentage or a fixed dollar rebate.
Merchants may offer different rebates and or incentives on different products.
What currency do the merchants accept? (return to top) Merchant's prices may be listed in Canadian or U.S. dollars. Please see merchant list for details. A Canadian flag indicates that the merchant accepts Canadian dollars, while a U.S. flag indicates that U.S. currency is accepted. All merchants listed ship to Canadian addresses.
Which currency is used to report my shopping history? (return to top) Rebates appear in your shopping history in Canadian dollars. Currency is converted according to currency exchange rates at the time of issuance.
How can I earn Rebates for my Plan from online purchasing? (return to top) Go to the shopping village and shop at any of our online Merchants and up to a 15% rebate on every purchase will be allocated to your account according to your Plan.
How do I track my rebate history? (return to top)
Login as a registered member and go to Shopping History to track your earnings. Due to the Merchant's return policy you may have to allow up to 60 days for your rebate to be processed.
When will the rebates get sent according to my Plan? (return to top) Rebates will be paid no later than 75 days from the end of each quarter to allow for the merchant's "up to 60 day return policy" and ShopFundss' 15 day processing period. All rebates are paid on the following schedule:

If a beneficiary has earned less than $50 at the end of the quarter, the funds will accrue until they reach $50 or be paid out by year end.
Must I register with the shopping village to earn rebates for my Plan? (return to top) This depends on the details of your rebate Plan. Please refer to your Plan page for more information. We strongly recommend that you do register regardless of your Rebate Plan.
What are the disadvantages of shopping as a Guest? (return to top)
You cannot establish a password protected account.
You cannot track your Shopping History.
You will not receive notices of promotions or incentives.
Is my membership private? (return to top) Yes. ShopFunds will not share any information about an individual member with a merchant. The information you provide will only be used in aggregate for demographic purposes to improve our service and to provide you with the best merchant deals and discounts. How long will it take before my purchase appears in my shopping history? What should I do if a purchase does not appear in my report? (return to top) Your purchase should appear in your shopping report within 10 days of shipment. If it does not appear after 20 days, please send an email to our customer service department at customerservice@RebateaCause.com
How do I change my contact information? (return to top) Login to your account using your username and password and then select Edit My Profile from the tool box menu.
